BROTHERS & SISTERS have not had many visitors lately and the social life has taken a back burner. grrr... not by choice. first it was exams, which were brutal. and now it's me budget. it's quite limited these days. especially with no income in sight. just flat hunting and the search for summer temp work. i find it hard to get myself motivated these days, but things are changing. i'm starting to exercise again and i find that gives me a sense of control and inspiration. funny that. there's a whole lot of anni's going round though. CINAMMON and THE POLE have reached 5 months. CHUCKLES is getting to 2 years! bless his little cuban man. and AUSSIEBUM and i have survived 3 months. the insanity of it all. even SPECIAL K is moving in with his messican. yowsas. come to think of it now, none of us are dating americans. hmmmm... oh and it is SEA SALT's birthday today!!! one of my best friends and i took him out for a proper bday celebration lunch. wagamama and milkshakes! damn this diet...

THE RICHES there ain't be no riches here. the budget is shrinking daily now. with holidays on the horizon and no income, me thinks a new loan application should be started. i should be able to survive the summer, and if i get some employment then there will be a surplus. but it's definitely not a fruitful financial period i'm in. gotta do the time. supposedly there's money headed my way after graduation. speaking of, EXAMS ARE DONE! summer is here! and i never ever thought i'd say that again. wow wow wow. but yeah, i think (and hope!) i passed it all. now how well i did... we won't talk about that. the first year isn't as important as the rest and i'm back in the game now. BRING IT ON BITCHES!!!

MILE HIGH well it's a different kind of high now. though perhaps we will join the mile high club this weekend since we are going on holiday. our first trip together! very exciting. we are off to florence and pisa. i love tuscany and am really looking forward to visiting it with AUSSIEBUM. he's turned out to be quite a boyfriend and yes, he makes me happy. just going with it really. still surprised that last week made it 3 months together. funny how monogamy works. and for the very first time in a relationship, he actually mentioned the "anniversary" to me first. such a cutie.

MEDLEYdear me... SO MUCH! thankfully that MIMI - BYE BYE business is behind us. not that i didn't like it. but i just didn't. the new single is one of my album faves, LOVIN YOU LONG TIME. gurl is bringing it with a summer jam. nice... some new SOPHIE songs leak recently, yummy. they are on her myspace page, find it for yourself. OFF & ON and HEARTBREAK MAKE ME A DANCER are some of her housey-est stuff to date. love love lovin it. hopefully this fall will bring yet another brilliant album from miss ELLIS-BEXTOR and a tour that will allow me to see her. ah, a girl can dream... then there's my new discovery of sorts. the new CYNDI LAUPER album. yes! madames et monsieurs, bitch is back. BRING YA TO THE BRINK is the album title and she surely does. gurl got the hottest djs to each produce a different track. damn it is some good shit. seriously, go buy it! you will not be dissatisfied. unfortunately a leaked song she did with BASEMENT JAXX called I'M FROM NEW YORK did not make the cut. it's so trippy, it should get released somehow... finally one good and one bad point. bad... ugh... MILEY CYRUS has another hit with me on 7 THINGS. i can't help it. it's just catchy. stupid slut... however, one good point.... SEX & THE CITY has not only turned out to be a fantastic flick (saw that shit twice boo) but the soundtrack has some fierce tracks. big duh is FERGIE's track LABELS OR LOVE. brilliant how they incorporated the original theme song into it. at least in my opinion. and then JENNIFER HUDSON brings it on with ALL DRESSED UP IN LOVE. she has it. i'm just sayin, she does. her supposed album lead single leaked, SPOTLIGHT. it's not as catchy but she definitely is workin with some of the right people, so i'm looking forward to her album to see what she's all got. and my third find on the OST is that hilariously brilliant nyc band MORNINGWOOD who scored their song NEW YORK GIRLS on the OST. hells to the yeah.

oops, and i forgot to mention that DUFFY is just releasing beautiful music. WARWICK AVENUE is an instant classic. and the video is as beautiful as the song. check it!
