OUTSIDE oh dear. it's been awhile and cinammon sent me a virtual bitch slap to get back on this. so the world's markets are crashing, a new US president is fighting the good fight to have the oppurtunity to heal a country and world destroyed george bush, and heath ledger has died. lots to put things in perspective really. but i still say 2008 is off to a great start and i am bringin it this year. as should YOU!

THE RICHES

the above are what is right with the world, and where i gained all my FAT last year. the larger bags of crisps are labelled, "better for sharing" which really means, "eat the whole bag in one sitting all by yourself!" so now, i'm only allowed either one of these divinities on special occasions, a.k.a. birthdays, holidays, depression and drunk binge eating. oh wait...

xmas was fun and different being in the UK. full of snowballs (fierce cocktail that SEA SALT's husband made throughout the day), fun television (kylie on dr.who!!!), and of course nothing else because every freaking thing in this country is closed on xmas day. but that's to rest up for the intense sales on boxing day. girl i got some good shit for cheap! then new year's was amazing as well. i got closure with my asshole ex who refused to see me (fabulous!), enjoyed the first nite of the smoking ban in paris (even more fabulous until 6am!), spent time with great friends and made even more friends. i love paris so much and can't wait to go back. they say my french was good, but i think that's just because they could understand me. in reality i'm sure i sound like the english quivalent of a mexican who just moved to kansas. either way, paris revived me and my return to london has me full of motivation, hope and freedom. i have a job now though so that's put a damper on the drinking a bit... :(

MILE HIGH well i now have greece checked off on my list, but that's not very important now is it? still single and loving it. not even a prospective date, which makes me happy because i refuse to settle. i totes believe i could shack up loads, but the market here is just... well in a bit of a recession i'd say. the goods are not up to par. so i'm thinking italian now. hmmmm... though one must never forget that everything tastes better with a bit of ginger. :) still on the hunt for my gorgeous tall fluent-in-french firecrotch. oh where oh where art thou?

MEDLEY JANET has brought it with FEEDBACK and there's already good buzz around THAT CHICK by MIMI. loads of great new dance tracks on my playlist, see below a fabulous black woman with backup white dancers. why the white chick tries to pretend she's the one singing, no idea. but it makes for good laughs. and even the new PAULA ABDUL track sounds good, DANCE LIKE THERE'S NO TOMORROW, ta-rue! even if she over uses the vocoder.
